The Province of North Holland, in partnership with the Sustainable Digital Infrastructure Alliance (SDIA), brought together policymakers from across Europe for a dynamic three-day summer school focused on building sustainable regional digital ecosystems.

This collaborative event tackled pressing challenges facing digital infrastructure development, providing participants with:

  • A comprehensive taxonomy for understanding the digital economy as an interconnected system

  • Case studies examining how global tech companies, startups, and regional digital ecosystems interact with local economies

  • A co-created vision for sustainable digital infrastructure across 5, 10, and 15-year horizons
